Bollinger Canyon Town Hall Meeting

Hello Bollinger Community,

There will be two Town Hall Meetings in the Multi-Purpose Room prior to the teacher presentations for Back to School Night.

For K-2 and SDC, the 1st meeting will be at 5:45 p.m. For 3rd - 5th the meeting will be at 7:00.

It will be a short presentation by members from our Ed Fund, PTA, and me. The presentations will be the same so if you miss one, you are free to join in the other. Remember that this is a parent night only and for teachers to disseminate information about their program.

If you have specific questions or concerns related to your child, please feel free to contact your teacher at another time.

Thank you and I hope to see you all Thursday evening.

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS

IMPORTANT NEW SRVUSD VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS:

SRVUSD is implementing a new system for all adults who wish to volunteer on a school campus or drive/chaperone day and overnight field trips and athletic events. This new Volunteer Management System features a web-based software application that allows the District and all schools to better track and provide the appropriate level of clearance for school volunteers.

The District will NOT be asking parents to incur any of the costs associated with these clearance processes, and if you have already been fingerprinted for the purposes of volunteering in our schools, we will not ask you to do that again!

The new SRVUSD Volunteer Management System includes three (3) levels of volunteer clearance and tracking: 1) Classroom aides and other general school volunteers; 2) field trip drivers, and 3) overnight chaperones. During the online application process, you will be asked to choose the level or levels of clearance you will need based on your anticipated involvement.

ALL adult volunteers will need to go through this new process. For more information, and to begin the application process, click BELOW.

PARENT PORTAL INFORMATION

SRVUSD Parents,

The Annual Update (Online Fall Registration) window for the 2104-15 school year is now open!  Please log into your Parent Portal account to complete this important task for the new year.  Check your Portal “InBox” for a message titled “Annual Update Fall Registration”.  This message will guide you through the Annual Update process.  Be sure to complete this no later than August 22, 2014.

Only one Annual Update is required for each family at a primary address.  The message will continue to appear in your inbox until the end of the Annual Update period.  Please disregard the message once you have completed your Annual Update.

You will receive a confirming email following completion of the Annual Update process.  This email will contain a link with school-specific Fall information.

If you have questions, please visit the Annual Update page at: http://www.srvusd.net/1415registration
