PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLE SAFETY

Talk with your child about the simple rules of safety to observe when walking or riding a bicycle to school.  Bicycle riders must observe all traffic rules.  Bicycles are to be ridden single file in the same direction as automobile traffic.  Only one person should ride on a bike at a time.

Bicycles may not be ridden on the school grounds.  Students are to walk their bikes to and from the bike racks and should walk them until they are off school grounds.  All bike riders must wear helmets.  We recommend that students below second grade not ride to school for safety reasons.
